He may be the founder of ‘Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam’ and a Member of Legislative Assembly, but he remains as Captain Vijayakanth in the heart of his admirers and Tamil cinema. Inspite of his tiring political career, the actor is geared up with his next project and will continue his service to the entertainment industry.

This time Vijayakanth will be the one and only captain of his film. Yeah! He will be responsible for the story, screenplay and direction of the movie apart from doing the lead role. A birdie says that, may be because of his busy schedule he did not taken a great deal of strain for the story of the film. And he has applied the story of the Hollywood hit movie called ‘Taken’!

‘Taken’ is a French action thriller starring Liam Neeson in the lead with Famke Janssen. The story revolves around a retired CIA agent who tracks down his daughter after she is been kidnapped by slave brokers.

So, this time we can have an all in all ‘Captain’ film, which will show him like a retired CIA agent! Hmmm…something unusual is always enjoyable, right people?
